The Assistant General Manager is involved in all facets of property management, including sales and revenue, operations, budget and personnel. The AGM is responsible for leading, supervising and managing the Front Desk department, Night Audit, accounting, concierge and reservations. He/ she is responsible for providing and ensuring attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing suite revenue and occupancy. He/she is also responsible for reservation and inquiry calls, accounts payable and accounts receivable. He/she is expected to develop and promote superior service skills in dealing with clients, guests, and co-workers. Additional duties may include working with food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance when applicable. The AGM tends to all facets of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager.
