Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

· Schedule technicians for all DMH Campuses

· Coordinate inventory ordering

· Follow up on special orders and backorders

· Process returns timely

· New Technician Training

· Follow up on technician training and monitoring completion of daily duties

· Monitoring monthly technician assignments

· Assisting with crash cart updates – all campuses

· Assisting with processing & filing & storage of invoices

· Other projects as directed

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Certification with PTCB required.

Registration: Must be registered with AL State Board of Pharmacy and in good standing

Experience: Three years of Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferentially- experience at DMH. Trained in all DMH inpatient pharmacy technician areas preferred.
