Under the leadership of the Administrative Director of Operations and the Credentialing Manager this individual is responsible for providing support to Hunterdon HealthCare Partners’ Credentialing Department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintains MSOW for state licenses, board certificates, malpractice coverage, and other required credentialing documents to ensure timely renewals.
Ensures accurate and timely verification of provider credentials, including state licenses, board certificates, malpractice coverage, and other required credentialing documents.
Regularly conducts expired credential audits of the database and other related files to ensure current and accurate data.
Correspond with providers and practice managers to resolve document renewal issues.
Maintains confidentiality of provider files.
Assists the Credentialing Manager and other Specialists with clerical functions related to the credentialing and recredentialing of initial and reappointment applications to Hunterdon HealthCare Partners.
Assists with processing credentialing, and recredentialing verifications.
Assists with coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining credentialing for commercial insurance companies.
Complies with all credentialing standards for processing commercial insurance applications.
Coordinates, monitors, and maintains all demographic changes and terminations; ensuring complete information and accurate and timely updating of healthcare professional files.
Assists with input and maintenance of provider MSOW database to provide timely access to accurate provider information.
Completes other duties as assigned.
