Position Summary:

The System Engineer will be responsible for providing configuration and support along with incident support for enterprise applications. This position is responsible for the support and maintenance of the current infrastructure environment as well as the implementation of new technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot to root cause across the technology stack and other teams.
• Partner with software development and other operational teams.
• Mentor team members.
• Lead projects to evaluate and select new technologies.
• Design and architect production environments, integrations, and SaaS applications
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed and hurricane coverage.
• Maintain the security and health of existing systems and implement new standards and technologies, including Windows and Linux operating systems in the hybrid environment (on-premise & cloud).
• Implement and maintain SaaS and enterprise solutions.
• Write and maintain documentation and as-built diagrams of all implementations and data flows.
• Provide support in connection with the resolution of major system/application issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Provide support in the effort to maintain 100% accurate system documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity Office on implementing controls. 

Requirements:

• 5 years System Operations support, with emphasis on Windows OS and support of Enterprise SaaS products
• Bachelor in Science/Engineering would be preferred
• Experience supporting SaaS email environments (Google Workspaces a plus)
• Deep knowledge of design, configuration, and support of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Extensive group policy experience
• Experience with enterprise SAN storage
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP a plus
• Customer Service first attitude
• Scripting experience in one or more languages (PowerShell, Perl, Python, etc.)
• Eagerness to learn new technologies
