Description
As a key member of our firm, the Senior Accountant position will assume a strategic role in the tax and advisory services area. A successful candidate must have tax preparation experience, proven time management skills, embrace technology, and practice a high level of collaboration in a team oriented environment. This candidate will also assist with compliance work, mentoring and training staff, as well as other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience
- CPA license or working towards the designation
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Corporation and S Corporation tax returns
- Assist with tax planning
- Tax support documentation sorting and scanning
- Assist with compliance work (ex. employee benefit plan audit engagements, partnership filings)
- Participates and contributes to firm wide strategic planning and goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
