This position will be located at our Germantown, MD or our Englewood, CO work location. Responsibilities: Work closely with Payroll on biweekly payroll processing. Partner with HR, IT and Payroll to identify and resolve any technical issues impacting HR data integration as well as the accurate, timely and efficient processing of HR transactions. Work with HR users to assess needs, define requirements, evaluate, design, configure and test proactive functional modifications and enhancements to Workday. Participate and assist periodic audits including quarterly SAP user access reviews, and other audits as needed. Ensure accurate, and timely processing of all employee data, including auditing records and compliance with all applicable government laws and regulations incorporating global aspects of the company. Create, review and participate in functional testing for all HR system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance; two major upgrades per year as well as weekly enhancements. Partner with HR Management on HRIS roadmap. Configure, test and implement approved functionality/programs. Partner with all areas of HR to create, edit and prepare reports and user-friendly dashboards. Discover inefficiencies in BP’s impacting HR data management; analyze processes, propose recommendations, document changes for change control purposes, and implement required process improvements. Design and facilitate HR system and business process training and documentation for super users and other HR system users. Collaborate with HR system vendors to ensure the HRIS system is able to meet the objectives of the organization. Provide day-to-day system monitoring and user support. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required (Information Systems, Information Technology and/or related fields is preferred) 3 years of overall work experience Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with SAP HR/Payroll Software Have demonstrated knowledge of overall Human Resources, Compensation, Payroll, as well as support of International employees and contingent workers. Possess an organizational mindset, and the ability to provide quick follow through on project goals Proven ability to work independently, and as part of a project team Have prior experience data integrity analytics, reporting, and system control practices Have prior experience in project management, with the ability to manage timelines Have the ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives at one time Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance. #LI-NA1 Compensation Range Annual Salary: $62,500.00 - $78,000.00 EchoStar is committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
