The Role

Our new Financial Analyst will be a valued member and asset to our accounting and finance team, delivering on the excellence that Hughes Marino is known for. We offer a hybrid schedule, and this position will be based in our beautiful downtown San Diego headquarters.

This role will primarily focus on forecasting, budgeting, quarterly tax filings and commission processing.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of corporate experience overseeing all financial functions under the direction of the CFO, such as auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes and project control.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in gathering financial data and preparing quarterly performance decks for clients and executive team.
  • Experienced in preparing reports, projections and presentation decks based on financial analyses.
  • Previous experience and high proficiency in variance analyses, revenue analyses and feasibility analyses are a must.
  • Proficient in preparing and distributing monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports in a timely and accurate manner using Excel and/or MS Dynamics.
  • Self-motivated and possess a strong ability to handle multiple projects, manage time effectively, proactively communicate and provide periodic status reports and updates to management.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work with a highly productive team.
  • Actual compensation will range from $85,000-105,000 and will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Financial Analyst for a small-medium sized company is required.
  • Polished and professional verbal and written business communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Dynamics or another enterprise-level program is required.
  • Commercial real estate experience is not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, real estate, or related field is preferred but not required.
