Karen Kane is a well-established apparel brand that has been manufacturing women’s apparel for over 40 years. The brand has had rapid growth on ecommerce in recent years, and continues to have successful long-lasting relationships with major stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s. From its start, the company has remained family-run and privately owned.

Work shifts can include early starts, late finishes, and weekends. During busy periods, overtime may be required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Ensure that products comply with Company/industry standards. 
• Train other inspection team members on all processes. 
• Document defects and recommendations for improvement; provide detailed feedback to design. 
• Prepare and present quality audit reports to management & distribution Center counterparts. 
• Clearly communicate with all departments in writing and/or verbally regarding defective and unacceptable merchandise. 
• Offer suggestions of needed to improve process' or efficiencies. 
• Ensure all cases and pallets are located to the correct drop zone as needed. 
• Perform cubi scan process and train other as needed. 
• Assist Supervisor in monitoring compliance as assigned. 

Education Requirements 

• High school Diploma / GED 
• Strong Mathematical skills 
• Minimum 4 years of apparel manufacturing and quality control / assurance experience is preferred. 
• Ability to read, write and speak in both English and Spanish (bilingual) is a plus. 
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. 
• Self-motivated with the ability to question and learn new tasks quickly. 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding in garment construction, garment measuring, quality control/assurance. 
• Able to perform all manner of order fulfillment functions, departments include Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Receiving. 
• Proven abilities for collecting, understanding, analyzing, and reporting data for continued process improvement. 
• In-depth knowledge of Company/Industry standards. 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills. 
• Advanced organizational skills. 
• Must have proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word
