Under the administrative direction of the Director of IT, the IT Systems Analyst is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs, systems, and business strategies to help maximize productivity and communications.

The IT Analyst will work with management to determine needs, coordinate with inside and outside resources to create, or update software based on those needs, and train company employees on how to use the software effectively in their daily jobs. 

The ideal candidate will possess initiative and is comfortable working independently. They will interact with all functions of the organization to define/document processes, draft and present proposals/design specifications for business and systems enhancements, and collaboratively implement approved enhancements.

Duties: 

  • Conduct interviews with business subject matter experts to document processes. 

  • Gather critical information from various stakeholders and produce recommendations. 

  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. 

  • Work closely with developers to create, enhance, and maintain bolt-on applications. 

  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. 

  • Provide system and user support by analyzing, documenting, and tracking reported systems problems. 

  • Provide temporary/manual workaround solutions to clients for systems problems. 

  • Author and maintain system training documentation. 

  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements. 

  • Perform software quality assurance and coordinate user acceptance testing. 

  • Develop project plans, manage projects, and monitor work to timely completion. 

  • Assist in completing help-desk tickets related to business system issues. 

  • Act as a change agent, providing the infrastructure to fuel continued company growth. 

  • Align technology trends and best business practices with current systems and practices. 

  • Write ad hoc query reports for data extraction and user reporting requests.

Working knowledge of: 

  • Project management. (ASANA a plus) 

  • Enterprise implementations. 

  • KPI dashboards. 

  • Data mining and analytics. 

  • Risk management. 

  • SDLC methodology. 

  • Business intelligence and reporting. 

  • Survey/query software and tools. (Power BI, Toad Datapoint) 

  • Programming knowledge. (SQL and Pl/SQL) 

  • B2B platforms. (NuOrder a plus) 

  • PLM, ERP, WMS platforms. (A2000 and Centric a plus) 

  • MS 365 for Office Suite. 

  • User acceptance testing. (UAT) 

  • Specification writing. 

  • Data automation. 

  • Apparel industry experience, a plus. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Strong problem-solving ability. 

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Can work hands-on and independently. 

  • Maintains attention to detail. 

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. 

  • Excellent documentation skills. 

  • Experience creating detailed reports. 

  • A track record of following through on projects/commitments. 

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. 

  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects. 

  • Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. 

  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus. 

Education: 

Completion of courses leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Electronics, Data Processing Operations, Software Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Radio Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. 

Experience: 

AT least five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in a similar role or three (3) year of experience within the apparel manufacturing industry in a similar role.
