Position: Quality Assurance Analyst
Reports To: Loan Quality Control Specialist
Classification: Full-time; Non-Exempt
Location: Topeka, KS [Headquarters]
Job Summary
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with all functions as they pertain to enforcement of loan policy and procedure as well as loan compliance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Verify loan data entry is accurate input for all Consumer, Real Estate and Commercial Loans
  • Pre-Closing review of all commercial loan production and consumer real estate loan production in order to ensure documentation and data entry are accurate and adhere to Bank Policy and Federal/State Regulatory requirements
  • Daily review of the Loan Audit Report, Loan Posted Transaction Report and the GL Transaction Posting Report
  • Review all loans post boarding
  • Maintain error tracking ledger and insure errors are corrected or reported to management through appropriate channels
  • Conduct all actions consistent with quality customer service, friendliness and the overall mission of the bank
  • Achieve and maintain a general knowledge of all aspects of the bank and our services in order to cross sell products and answer customer questions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience
  • One year of loan experience with basic understanding of loan terminology
  • Two years of loan operations experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State loan regulations strongly preferred
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College courses in business preferred
Skills & Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with Word and Excel proficiency
  • Detail/Goal/Solutions oriented
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Proficiency in listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to relate and empathize with people
