Position Summary : Inspect, repair and maintain all mold asseblies and tundishes.

Supervisory Responsibilities : N/A

Essential Duties :

• Inspect, repair, and maintain cast molds per standard operating procedures.
• Maintain and repair tundishes per standard operating procedures.
• Inspect and prepare header plates and coatings.
• Complate and maintain mold record data.
• Maintain mold area housekeeping, 5S and inventory of materials.
• Read and understand all warning labels, JSA and MSDS.

Additional Duties :

• Operate forklift when needed

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years experience working in a mechanical role (manufacturing, automotive, or military)
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of foundry or casting experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to use measuring tools to verify dimensions

Working Conditions :

• Flexible hours, overtime may be required.

• Lifting : Medium - Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 50 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 25 pounds.
