Busy family is looking to hire a Mature, Experienced Family Assistant/Nanny for their home in Manhasset, NY

The Ideal Candidate: This family is looking for a friendly, flexible, active, organized Nanny and Family Assistant to help with their busy household and their 3 wonderful boys (ages 6, 9, and 11). Their oldest is quieter and loves things like fencing, coding, and taking acting classes, while the younger 2 boys are more active, into lots of sports, and running around, and may need to "be wrangled in" on occasion. You will be responsible for household support during the day, including but not limited to light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, cooking, organizational projects (keeping dressers neat, changing seasonal or outgrown clothes for kids, etc), and errands, as needed. In the afternoon, you would be responsible for picking the boys up from school, having a healthy snack ready for them, and providing after-school care for them, including overseeing their homework, driving to after-school sports and/or activities, as needed, and/or having them ready for to be picked up if they take a carpool, etc. 

What Works Best for Family: Mom and dad both work a hybrid schedule and work from home 2 days a week, so this person should be comfortable having the parents in the home. Mom and dad can/will help drive kids to/from activities but they need a kind, calm, energetic, & fun person who can help them with the multiple schedules and basic household needs of a busy home and 3 active boys. Mom says the most hectic time for them is around 3:00 - 7:00 PM so they need someone who can be "the calm among the chaos" and help out wherever needed. Flexibility is key!  Someone who is willing and able to stay for date nights or overnights on occasion would make a great fit! And someone who truly cares about the job and is not a "control freak" or tied to a job description works best for this family. Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 03 Children, Ages 6 (B), 9 (B), & 11 (B) years old
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner, Plain Cooking Required Children's Meals Only
• Laundry: Children's Laundry Only
• Errands: Grocery Shopping, Post Office, Dry Cleaners, as needed
• Driving: Required (Car will be provided for transporting kids)
• Travel: No Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Ideally 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, flexible for the right candidate 
• Must be Covid Vaccinated & Boosted
• Languages: English
• Experience: 03 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30 , DOE for the right candidate
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
