STAFF ACCOUNTANT-AP CONCENTRATION

OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Prepare and post daily deposits for three locations
• Process credit card payments, virtual check payments, wire payments, and ACH payments
• Staff Accountant creates invoices & credit notes for customers & prepares monthly statements
• Manage accounts receivable and collect payment for overdue invoices
• Create Daily Invoice Batches
• Staff Accountant prepares and coordinates internal and external RMA's
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
• Work closely with Customer Service and Commercial departments for account payments
• Staff Accountant acts as a backup for Accounts Payable as needed
• Record & store deposits paperwork
• Other duties as assigned by management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required for Staff Accountant position.
• At least two years' experience in accounting including general ledger, AR, and AP.
• Strong Excel skills.
• ERP experience, Sage is a plus!
