Position Summary:
Our Area Sales Coordinator works within the hotel's sales, marketing and events department, supporting and coordinating the team responsible for booking of the hotel facilities.
Scope of this Position:
- Supports the day-to-day activities of the Sales Office
- Completes contracts and proposals including tracking
- Handle inquiries for group leads
- Assists sales team with all aspects of servicing clients and securing new business
- Proactively manages showrooms for site inspections
- Works closely with operations teams including Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure client's needs are met
Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
- College Degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in a hotel role a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues in a friendly and positive manner
- Ability to multitask and to be proactive
- Attention to detail is a must
