Hotel Talent NYC is Hiring a Housekeeping Manager Near New York, NY
Hotel Talent NYC is seeking a motivated individual looking for career growth. This position is ideal for someone looking to become a Director of Housepeeking.
The Housekeeping Manager will work closely with the Assistant Director of Housekeeping and the Director of Operations:
Responsibilities may include:
- Hiring and training teams
- Developing team schedules
- Purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment as needed while adhering to forecasted expenses
- Assisting hotel guests who have specific housekeeping needs
- Coordinating housekeeping needs with other hotel department managers, including front office, engineering, F&B, and Sales
- Ensure and control compliance with all brand and hotel policies and standards
- Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations
- Be on time at all meetings or announce in advance your representative
- Inspect guest rooms and ensure that the team is maintaining public spaces
- Assist in driving GSS Cleanliness Scores
Guest Services and Quality Assurance:
- Always control the quality of the service and product
- Handle guest complaints independently according to the hotel's philosophy
- Ensure that all staff is knowledgeable on current information
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff and review all information pertinent to the day’s business
- Conduct regular department meeting

Please note to be considered for this position. You must have prior Hotel Experience in the housekeeping department in a supervisory or managerial role. Job Type: Full-time
Must have a fully open schedule - able to work weekends and holidays
Must have prior housekeeping experience. This position is ideal for a Housekeeping Supervisor looking to grow within the field.
Compensation Range: $58,500k - $60,000k
