Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen is an upscale Gastropub that features innovative San Francisco cuisine, locally brewed beers and handcrafted cocktails. The atmosphere is playful and welcoming, providing the perfect spot to enjoy watching a local game on our big screens, or sneak away from the hustle and bustle of downtown to relax.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Executive Chef is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of the hotel’s food production, while maintaining profitable F&B operations and high quality products and service levels.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Work with the Director of F&B to create and implement menus
- Overseeing the culinary team including but not limited to: recruitment, training, performance management, and development
- Monitor quality of all food product and presentation
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the kitchen and food production areas
- Develop proper training and direction of departmental assistants in compliance with company standards of quality, specifications, portion control, recipes, employee relations, sanitation, etc.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- 4-5 years of previous Executive Chef experience within a hotel environment is preferred
- Proven ability to lead and manage a culinary team
- Ability to work long hours
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

SALARY
85k-95k annually
