The Language of Luxury, Service and Serenity
The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our guests, employees and hotel, while enforcing the proper policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Support the integrity and work ethics of the LP department and hotel
Respect privacy of hotel guests, employees and visitors
Conduct investigations and prepare factual reports
Patrol interior and exterior of the hotel
Escalate safety/security issues to senior management
Assist with evacuation during emergencies, drills and natural disasters
Conduct safety briefings upon request
Adhere to OSHA and Safety regulations, Federal & State laws and TABC guidelines
Manage keys, parking passes, lockers, uniforms, shipping & receiving, L&F
Conduct Safety and Risk management training
Ensure all health & safety protocols and hotel policies are followed
Complete Injury/Incident reports
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
College coursework preferred
Ability to write and present detailed reports, based on facts
Ability to address guest issues with a high degree of diplomacy
Excellent work ethics, dependability and professionalism
Proficient in Microsoft programs - Word, Excel, Powerpoint
