Hoselton Auto Mall is Hiring a Dispatcher Near East Rochester, NY

If you like being the “go-to” person and are very organized and a people person, you may be the ideal candidate for a Dispatcher position with Hoselton Auto Mall, a family-owned business since 1920.
The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and training drivers, and maximizing efficiency while meeting customer needs within a budget. Primary objectives are to ensure driver needs are represented and to be sure deliveries are made safely and when customers need the orders.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling drivers
- Training schedules for new drivers
- Meeting or exceeding customer expectations in delivery times
- Communicating with drivers and addressing any driver needs or concerns
- Contacting wholesale staff when customer delivery needs may not be met
- Sending drivers as needed to pick up any needed parts from other dealers for wholesale and retail customers
- Documenting any driver issues, accidents, injuries, or incidents outside the normal operations
- Working within a budget of driver hours based on each month's sales objectives
Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Knowledge and familiarity with Monroe County and surrounding counties
- High motivation
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Enthusiasm
- Computer knowledge and/or experience
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High School diploma required
- Drug test required
- Motor Vehicle Report required
