Hoselton Auto Mall is seeking an Accounting / Deal Clerk to join our accounting team for our high-volume dealerships in East Rochester. This is a full-time opportunity in a very busy, fast paced office setting.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am- 4:30pm with some required overtime at month end.
• Compensation: $36,000 - $41,000 range, based on level and relevance of experience

What does an Accounting / Deal Clerk do?

• Primary job responsibilites include:
  • Taking the car deal after it has been delivered and charging the proper accounts with the money paid for the car. Must be very diligent and able to change gears in a moment's notice. Every deal is different, so the ideal candidate must be willing to constantly learn as well.
    • Preparing the daily deposit
    • Booking all vehicle sales transactions (retail, wholesale, and dealer trades) to the general ledger in a timely and accurate fashion
    • Preparing all floor plan adds and payoffs, and posting to the general ledger daily
    • Recording all contract fundings to the general ledger when received from the bank
    • Submitting extended warranty cancellations
    • Maintaining any related schedules and prepare general journal entries to clean up the schedules
    • Processing factory incentives and reconciling related schedules
    • Calculating commission sheets for submission to payroll on a weekly basis
    • Processing refunds for customer deposits

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workload
• Detail orientation, speed and accuracy
• Ability to learn quickly and work with technology and multiple software platforms
• Strong work ethic, dependable and a positive attitude
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen
