JOB SUMMARY: This position offers a tremendous opportunity to gain valuable industrial engineering experience. The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for the technical planning and equipment selection for bulk material handling systems projects. Additionally, the Application Engineer acts as a technical support representative for our customers and develops strong partnerships with sales managers while collaborating on projects from initial conception through successful completion. 

• Collaborate with sales managers, vendors, and customers to develop equipment and system proposals.
• Interface with vendors to gain technical information and pricing
• Develop process flow concepts and plan and elevation drawings utilizing AutoCAD
• Responsible for technical and functional selection of equipment, confirming it matches our customer’s needs.
• Review design parameters and application information to ensure the scope of supply meets the customer’s requirements.
• Travel as required to customer offices and manufacturing sites.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Developed knowledge of AutoCAD
• Demonstrated ability to strategically manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail, bigger picture thinking and proactive identification and resolution to complex issues
