Horizon Tax Advisors is Hiring a Remote Accounting Coordinator

Fulltime in Office

36-40 hours per week. Position is in office but may be hybrid.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support Horizon tax staff by ensuring client books are up-to-date for tax planning and tax preparation
  • Train and support Horizon staff accountants
  • Perform reconciliations and other accounting tasks as needed for Horizon clients
  • Set up new client books
  • Train & support new client users
  • Act as liaison between Horizon and outside bookkeepers
  • Run 1099s @ year-end
  • Process client payrolls

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant accounting experience in an accounting and/or tax firm environment
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online and Desktop. QB Certified ProAdvisor preferred
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Customer-service focused
  • Highly proficient with MS Office products
  • Excellent computer and technical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
