Hop Häus Plainville is Hiring a Bartender Near Plainville, CT

Hop Haus is a farm-to-fork craft eatery focusing on craft beer & hand crafted cocktails. We use local & fresh products alongside distilleries & breweries from the area to provide a unique experience. Applicants should be able to work nights & weekends as well as some day shifts. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended to accommodate multiple locations. Compensation includes hourly pay as well as tips.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks in a timely manner.
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails to recipe.
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

  • Resume and proven working experience as a bartender (3 Years)
  • Ability to properly identify intoxicated persons & initiate the next steps.
  • Excellent knowledge of craft beer & mixing, garnishing and serving cocktails.
  • Computer literacy
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • TIPS certification within thirty days of hiring.
