We need a professional, someone capable of hitting the ground running to provide timely, safe, and efficient pick-up and delivery of parts and equipment. Parts Driver Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain communication with parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counterperson, and shipping/receiving clerk to coordinate all pick-ups and deliveries (planned and last minute)
• Verify invoice against purchase order for each pick-up
• Maintain accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups, and obtain recipient's signature for each delivery entry
• Unload truck each night
• Submit all paperwork for undelivered parts
• Basic maintenance of truck, including gassing, checking oil, keeping it clean and ensuring required inspections are performed
• Advise parts manager of necessary major truck repairs or maintenance
• Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
• Assist service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing drop-off and pick-up of customer's vehicles
• Assist with stocking and posting orders upon arrival to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts

Parts Driver Qualifications: Successful candidates will be or possess:

• 6 months' related experience (i.e.: truck/auto parts delivery)
• Able to lift 75 pounds
• Clean, valid driver's license (no major/minor violations/at-fault accidents in last 5 years)
• For insurance purposes, drivers must be at least 25 years of age
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent and efficient customer service skills
• Willingness and ability to make deliveries throughout the areas serviced
