Hood Industries is Hiring a Truck Driver (Class A or B) (Sign-On Bonus Program) Near Baltimore, MD
JOB SUMMARY:
Hood Distribution is looking for a CDL Class A or B driver that is also willing to work in the warehouse for the Hagerstown, MD facility. Hood Distribution is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings and related wood products whose customers include cabinet shops, millwork houses, retail lumber yards, and similar businesses.
The successful candidate should have experience in warehouse operations, and distribution. Forklift operation certification and knowledge of lumber and/or plywood is preferred. Candidate must have reliable transportation, have the ability to work with minimal supervision, load and unload trailers, customer service, possess good math skills, read a tape measure and lift up to 70 lbs.
Candidates wishing to be considered will also have to possess a Valid State’s CDL Class A or B Driver’s License, and have a Good Driving Record. Hood Distribution focuses on hardwood lumber wholesale, and since the Company is growing rapidly, is looking for CDL Truck Drivers (Class A or B) to join our growing Team! Sign-On Bonus Program:Hood Distribution will pay up to a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus to a new employee that successfully completes the designated employment milestones. All payouts are grossed up and subject to taxation.- 90-day probationary period - $1,000.00
- 6-month anniversary - $500.00
- 1-year anniversary - $500.00
