Warehouse Crew
Pay Details:
The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
The Warehouse team members are responsible executing a wide variety of warehouse activities including but not limited to, shipping, receiving, and storing of raw materials and/or finished goods, maintaining inventory levels, completing purchasing related paperwork, etc. Also responsible for the distribution of requisitions, flow of products throughout arena, storage, and regular rotation of goods in all areas, securing of warehouse and securing inventory. This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of the Honda Center. Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule.
Responsibilities
Receive inventory from vendor and stock products in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse
Pull product and distribute to various departments in a timely manner
Verify and count inventory for quality and accuracy
Maintain quality service by following organization standards
Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to internal and external guests
Transports kegs to and from various locations within the food and beverage locations
Removal of empty kegs to designated areas and replenish as needed
Maintains safe and clean work environment (i.e. coolers, warehouse, restaurant locations) by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean receiving area; comply with procedures, rules, and safety regulations
Become comfortable with the most efficient ways of navigating thought the arena
Work with counter parts within the organization to ensure, maintain and deliver standards of quality service
Skills
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 18 years of age
Previous warehouse experience is preferred
Ability to count and perform basic math
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and display professionalism
Strong verbal communication skills
Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 75lbs (i.e. Cases of water, frozen product etc.) and/or move product up to 175lbs (i.e. Kegs)
Flexible schedule – candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
Must be able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
You should be willing and able to operate carts, dollies, hand trucks and other moving equipment to move large quantities of product throughout your shift
Potential requirement to operate powered industrial equipment
