Job Summary:
At HomeLife Personal Care, we are dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate care to our clients in their homes. We are currently seeking a part-time CNA/HHA to join our team in Ponte Vedra, FL. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential Personal Care and light Housekeeping to individuals in need, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time, hourly position with a competitive compensation of $14 to $16 per hour, paid biweekly. The position is for 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm daily/. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Administer medication according to doctor's instructions
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with daily household tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure the best care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures
- Continuously uphold high ethical standards and treat clients with respect and dignity
Requirements:
- Active CNA and/or HHA certification in the state of Florida
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare or home care setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work independently
- Must have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
