Job Description: The Chief Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds. Hilton Experience Preferred. Salary based on level of experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedules maintenance functions to be performed by technicians and grounds personnel.
• Provides staff training, technical assistance, and supervision.
• Performs equipment and room preventive maintenance as noted in the preventive maintenance manual and listed on the daily maintenance schedule.
• Performs work order request items as listed on the daily maintenance schedule.
• Responds to maintenance emergencies by personally repairing any malfunctions that may occur.
• Maintains required records as outlined in a preventive maintenance program or as required by local authorities.
• Provides security by following all key control procedures, maintaining work areas in a clean, well-organized condition, reporting suspicious activity by guests or others, and following other safety regulations.
• Must have HVAC and Pool Certification.
• Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance. Extends hospitality and courtesy to guests and co-workers.
• Ensures compliance with Brand Standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by proper authority.
