Dr. Holvik offers comprehensive dermatology care. While this includes the diagnosis and treatment of routine skin rashes and skin cancer examination, Holvik Family Health Center takes care of aesthetic needs with noninvasive body contouring and permanent fat removal using SculpSure® advanced laser technology.

Job Summary: The Family Practice Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a family practice medical office. They will manage administrative and clinical staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies, and facilitate efficient and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage clinical performance including Medical Assistants, Medical Scribes, Medical Doctors, and Nurse Practitioners, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management including administration of 2 performance appraisals per year
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Manage patient flow and scheduling to optimize patient access and satisfaction
- Manage Practice Dashboard Metrics to ensure team is aware of actual performance vs. goals, motivate team to achieve goals
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient privacy laws, including HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to promote patient health and wellness
- Resolve patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and evaluate office performance and quality of care, and implement improvements as needed
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among staff
- Maintain medical equipment and inventory of medical supplies
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the physician or practice management group: lead by example, be willing to help out as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Associates’ degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing effective teams of 15 to 25 in high volume environments with attention to customer service, confidentiality, and teamwork.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills, including team building and conflict resolution
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a family practice setting
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
- Proficiency in medical record keeping and documentation
- Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- May be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a medical office setting
- May be exposed to infectious diseases and hazardous materials
- Full time employment currently Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hour work week).
- Future schedule could shift to Monday through Thursdays with 9 hour days and 4 hours on Fridays (40 hour work week).
