Who are The Guard?

The Guard is a brand new gaming & esports organization owned by Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE), the owners of the LA Rams, Arsenal FC, SoFi Stadium, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and the Colorado Rapids.

What You’ll do

The Marketing Analyst will support the marketing, content, and partnerships teams by providing insights into various business questions critical to the success of The Guard organization. Additionally, your job will rely heavily on embedding yourself in the multiple facets of the organization to learn the questions being asked, turn those questions into data, and turn those data into actionable insights or recommendations.

Your work will directly impact the organization’s success - helping your team make smarter decisions and measuring the value of those decisions. 

In this role, you will

• Effectively distill data into coherent analysis, insights, and ultimately actionable recommendations in straightforward and simple language.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative methodologies to generate insight from data. Includes mid-level statistical modeling and data processing.
• Act as a lead on Q&A of outgoing reports to ensure deliverables meet standards expected by clients and senior leadership.
• Interface directly with Marketing and Content teams to design research programs and deliver marketing performance reports and ad hoc research studies.
• Support Senior Staff on day-to-day project operations including but not limited to: project status updates, support on proposal development, project management, and resource planning
• Work with various analytics applications and dashboards to track marketing performance, trends, and opportunities 
• Be curious: Proactively look at data to come up with insights that can help drive growth (i.e. new campaigns, migration strategies, impact studies)
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis and/or machine learning (e.g. classification & clustering techniques, regression modeling, etc.)

What we’re looking for

• 4 years of analytics experience or equivalent
• An excellent storyteller and data visualizer with experience in Tableau, Datorama, Google Data Studio preferred.
• Experience analyzing user behavior across digital, consumer-facing products (e.g. gaming, e-commerce, etc.)
• Experience building relationships to influence cross-functional partners with data
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
