The maintenance technician is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the Hollywood Casino Aurora.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs as directed

- Performs general maintenance including plumbing, electrical carpentry, painting, and dry wall repairs

- Complete ready repairs such as cabinet installations, restroom fixture repair, lighting fixture replacements etc

- Inspect and adjust property equipment as necessary

- Collaborate with other Facilities Team Members and Departments on tasks and projects

- Assist in the installation or relocation of equipment and property furniture

- Uses hand tools and power tools in making maintenance repairs

- Participates in general cleaning, painting, and repair work

- Perform exterior maintenance, snow removal and salting as necessary

- Adheres to all safety procedures and keeps work area clean of debris

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Must be 21 years of age

- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment

- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

- Available to work required schedule which may include night, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

- 2-3 years maintenance experience specializing in skills related to carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, roofing or HVAC preferred

- Valid driver’s license
