We are searching for an experienced ContinuousImprovement (CI) Project Manager to help drive performance in a key businessdivision servicing the aerospace industry. They will assess,monitor, and improve warehouse performance across several US locations. Theywill analyze current practices and implement changes in workflows, structures,and teams to ensure world class performance. Establish and drive norms and standards of performance. Manage KPIs. Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current performance. Facilitate team members to proactively identify continuous improvement needs, take action, and achieve meaningful, sustainable results. Collaborate with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. Train, mentor, and guide team members to increase effectiveness, including local Continuous Improvement Leads. Maintain subject matter expertise in continuous improvement methodologies and application. Develop our next level of leadership to be data-driven and use continuous improvement methodologies to optimize performance. Lead major improvement projects, process changes and start-ups. Sustain desirable behaviors and performance improvements. NECESSARY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business administration, process management, or operations; MBA would be beneficial. 5 years continuous improvement experience 5 years warehousing experience Six Sigma Black Belt Lean, Kaizen and 5S experience Sharp eye for identifying waste and underperformance Strategic and analytical mindset Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills Thorough understanding of the latest continuous improvement strategies – and able to put them into practice. Comfortable prioritizing and manage multiple, competing demands in a fast-paced environment Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities Leadership and mentoring skills.
