This position is responsible for the day to day operation of assigned F&B outlet(s), specifically front of the house operations. Will oversee greeters and “back of house” cooks. Will ensure a fun and attractive atmosphere is maintained so that guests and employees alike recognize “The Grille" to be the place of choice. Will ensure FOH operations run pursuant to property standards and all food is ordered, plated, delivered and rung up according to brand standards.

SCHEDULE: Wednesday - Sunday

HOURS: 40 hours/week

PAY: $15.00/hour (paid weekly)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Direct the front of the house staff.
  • Ensure food orders are placed correctly and timely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with menu creation/rotation, manage promotions and special, creatively drive business to the outlet, and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Schedule/cut staff according to business needs while maintains service standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position will directly supervise small groups of employees in our F&B outlets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish preferred.
  • 2 years of directly relevant experience.
  • Resort, theme park or similar experience a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be accepted.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of POS System and cash register systems
  • Inventory Control and adherence to Par Levels
  • Monitor and handle Guest inquiries
  • Assists managers to direct, implement and maintains a service and management philosophy, which serves as a guide to the respective staff.
  • Knowledge of daily house count, VIPS and activities
  • Ability to listen and understand customer.
  • Ability to maintain excellent guest service.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Direct kitchen and service staff.
  • Ensure food orders are placed correctly and timely.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures, processes and standards are adhered to at all time without exception.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain employee relations within the department.
  • Maintains a high quality of guest relations.
  • Schedule staff according to guidelines.
  • Maintain proper food & beverage ordering and cost control.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly inventories.
