Supply Chain Analyst

About the role:

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities within logistics and inventory management through optimizing market demand and production supply information. The role will work to establish KPIs and reporting metrics to manage the operations and work in strategic initiatives to identify opportunities for supply chain savings. In addition, the position will review alternative models and network optimization opportunities to increase overall asset utilization and customer service at the most efficient cost.

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Develop tools and reports in support of Supply Chain and Logistics functions including – inventory management, tactical supply planning, and cost analysis.
• Work closely with sales, production & technical services departments to balance market demand, production supply & working capital objectives linking supply chain effectiveness to financial statements & customer service metrics.
• Utilize the optimization tool to analyze distribution network and run what-if scenarios for various projects such as storage sizing and supply source and mix.
• Manage inventory forecast & investigate alternative inventory planning scenarios to optimize costs and market demand.
• Participate in various studies and projects from time to time involving Logistics as well as other functional departments as team member or project leader.
• Maintain pricing, material transfers and operations complexities for industry products across the cementitious market for North America.
• Investigate & analyze feasibility of alternative modes.
• Other duties as assigned.
