Overview

About the role:

Responsible for providing leadership, guidance and direction for plant operations and ensuring sustainable performance aligned with business objectives, values and guiding behaviours while delivering on business commitments.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Proactively represent Holcim with the community, customers and various governmental agencies.
• Function as a driver for change management in plant organization.
• Propose and execute capital expenditures maximizing value to the operation and consistent with a low cost strategy; while maintaining accountability for proposed ‘value added’ return.
• Utilize performance management processes and tools to manage performance and development of direct reports and their teams; play an active role in development of future leaders.
• Deliver on operational and cost results.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality production.
• Implement strategies consistent with the company’s vision and business plan.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We're looking for:

Required Education: Bachelor's/Undergraduate DegreeAdditional Education Preferred: Master's/Graduate Degree

Required Work Experience: 7-10 years

Skills Required: Mechanical and Maintenance experience Travel Requirements: 20%

Additional Requirements:

• 6-10 years combined management-level and cement industry experience.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and certification process.
• Required Computer and Software Skills: SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
