Responsible for maintaining the plant manufacturing equipment in a state of readiness. Complete work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns. Perform the appropriate plant equipment inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance for both fixed and mobile equipment. Responsible for preparing and welding steel and aluminum structures, appendages and equipment.
Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding, fabrication and machining equipment. Expericence in operating equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, track loader
