Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. Come join a unique industry with passionate employees that creates high quality products for customers across the country.
This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to commute weekly to offices near South Salt Lake, Utah.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Support month-end close processes ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries and bank/merchant account reconciliations.
- Process invoices and payment transactions.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist with sales tax accounting and tax return filing.
- Ad-hoc reporting and inventory accounting support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business-related field required.
- 1 years of related accounting experience within a high-volume environment.
- Prior experience with sales tax (multi-state, city, county), and merchant fee reconciliations.
- Proficient with ERP systems (NetSuite highly preferred) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, SUMIF, LOOKUP functions) required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
