What We're Looking For Our Baton Rouge and New Orleans Offices seek a graphic design intern. Relocation and visa sponsorship are NOT provided for this position. Primary Focus Will Include: Assist in creation of print and digital materials for proposals, including templates, charts, maps, infographics, covers and layout. Assist in creation of print and digital materials for presentations, including PowerPoints, leave-behinds, and display boards. Assist in creation of print and digital materials for PR and internal communications, including brochures, ads, and announcements. Assist in social media outreach and marketing. Drafts concepts for visually communicating key messages. Files and organizes digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics. Assists in coordinating with print vendors and photographers. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Art, Graphic Design or related field Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently Ability to prioritize work and multi-task What You'll Need Essential Responsibilities: Performs a variety of tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquires and making appointments. Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams. Assists management in analyzing various data. Works on special projects and provides research as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
