What We're Looking For Under close supervision, assists assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic and routine administrative support work and other related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary business curriculum, usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Our Atlanta, GA office is seeking a Graphic Design Intern for Summer 2023. Relocation and housing are not provided for this position. Primary Focus Will Include: Provide graphics and visual assets for HNTB’s clients including flyers, fact sheets, infographics, presentations, and brochures Assist with the creation of social media images and content Assist with photo and video shoots Provide photo retouching Assist with UX design and website maintenance Support development of digital and print newsletters Attend creative team meeting and brainstorming sessions Research latest digital and social media trends Support various internal communications requests such as newsletters and digital display boards Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design or relevant field Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Social media skills Ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously Be open and collaborative Display attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team What You'll Need Essential Responsibilities: Performs a variety of tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquires and making appointments. Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams. Assists management in analyzing various data. Works on special projects and provides research as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
