HNTB participates in E-Verify Know your rights: Right to Work What We're Looking For Under close supervision, assists assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic and routine administrative support work and other related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary business curriculum, usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Our Orange County, CA office is seeking full-time Marketing Interns for the summer of 2023, to assist in writing and editing marketing content in response to Requests for Proposals. Primary Focus Will Include: · Provide marketing support through the organization and maintenance of materials and data used to develop proposals, presentations, resumes, project sheets and firm qualifications. · Assist with the maintenance of information systems, including data migration for web-based and network-based programs used to house information utilized by marketing staff. · Assist with compiling and checking qualification information, including writing, proofreading and editing, and completing forms for marketing purposes. · May assist with industry conference and/or award preparation. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: · Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or relevant field · Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (required) · Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and InDesign (preferred) · Ability to work independently · Ability to prioritize work and multi-task What You'll Need Essential Responsibilities: Performs a variety of tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquires and making appointments. Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams. Assists management in analyzing various data. Works on special projects and provides research as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
