We are currently recruiting for a Test Engineer III. In this position, you would perform a wide variety of complex technical tasks to assist in the identification and evaluation of new technologies and solutions to various customer needs, design, construction, and test of prototypes. You would also support and assist the Production Test and Manufacturing Engineering teams as necessary and train Testers and Technicians on Electronic Theory and Product Operations.

What you will do in the position:

  • Design and document of ATE.
  • Develop an ATE software program.
  • Develop new state-of-the-art programming methods.
  • Assist in the design, fabrication, testing, and debugging of prototypes of ATE circuits.
  • Support and assist the Production Test, as necessary.
  • Monitor pilot production activities.
  • Evaluate new product designs (documentation and equipment).
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and equipment.
  • Specify manufacturing processes.
  • Generate test procedures and test datasheets.
  • Conduct time and cost estimates.
  • Train Testers and Technicians on a regular basis on Electronic Theory and Product Operation.
  • Assist in the design and development of manual test fixtures.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineer, as necessary.
  • Develop more cost-effective test methods.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • Thorough understanding of electronics and design.
  • Strong understanding of basic and engineering computer software.
  • Knowledge of test equipment and use.
  • Computer programming skills.
  • Knowledge and use of hand tools.
  • Experience with commercial PCBA ATE operation and programming a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of electronics and design.
  • 5 years of related experience
  • BA or BS (college graduate) - preferred

Pay Range: $82,425.00 to $109,900.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
