We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Intern. In this position, you will be joining the mechanical engineering team to work on projects that involve mechanical design in support of electronic packaging design, mechanical analysis, and field test support. You will also have an opportunity to interface with sustaining engineering for insight into necessary changes to existing products including change order activities.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field technical.
• Working knowledge of Inventor (CAD) skills including 3D modeling or any CAD software program.
• Interest in plastic injection mold tooling, sheet metal design, and machining processes.
• Able to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship.

Preferred

• Interest in thermal, shock, vibration, and material analysis and testing.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
