HME is looking for your talent! If you are a Manufacturing Process Engineer I. The hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday).  we would love to hear from you! In this position you will monitor all aspects of the manufacturing process utilizing SPC controls. You will actively drive improvements and solve problems. Additionally, you will train personnel on best practices and monitor personnel to ensure process compliance, analyze process defects and perform manufacturing equipment process changes to correct defects. Our new, state-of-the-art facility has all the latest SMT and TH equipment, including screen printers, SMT mounters, reflow ovens, automated mass solder machines, x-rays, AOIs, and selective soldering machines.

What you will do in the position:

  • Implement continuous improvement ideas using Lean methods and tools to maximize efficiency and quality
  • Create or update Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Train operators on manufacturing equipment and best practices
  • Monitor manufacturing processes data collection to prepare for analysis
  • Create and modify machine programs for all automated equipment
  • Implement, maintain and repair new and existing manufacturing equipment

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • Understanding of IPC-A-610 Class II & III as well as J-STD-001 Standards
  • Experience with Lead-Free SMT and TH processes and programming; Panasonic preferred
  • Ability to follow quality processes
  • 2 years related experience
  • High School Diploma - Required
  • BA or BS (college graduate in a related field) - Preferred
  • Technical Certification – Preferred

Pay Range: $64,480.00 - 73,100.00 This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions

The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, works in high, precarious places, is exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and is regularly at risk of electric shock.
