Hive Group LLC is Hiring a Remote Contract Administrator

Job Summary

Hive Group LLC is currently looking for a Contract/Subcontract Administrator for our client’s Contracts organization. Our client is a leading global provider of consulting services to the public and commercial markets with broad capabilities in management, technology, and risk consulting. This engagement will be a six month contract-to-hire and can be remote.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform as the functional and technical Contracts Administrator in the areas of Federal contracts and procurement
  • Provide daily contract support and lead coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines
  • Provide advice and guidance on the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and agency specific supplements and respond, when appropriate, to related issues
  • Negotiate, execute, and administer government contracts, including administration of subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out, and records retention.
  • Organize and facilitate formal communication between the company and its suppliers, subcontractors, prime contractors, and government customers
  • Manage and oversee all assigned company subcontracts, contracts, and engagements
  • Act as liaison with Project Managers, Sales Account Executives and Proposal Managers to ensure compliance with contract terms
  • Use functional experience and expertise in the review and administration of NDAs, Teaming Agreements & Subcontract Agreements
  • Experience with Subcontract Administration; both as a Prime Contractor and a Subcontractor
  • Assist in the preparation of internal contracts reports and information for contract management, and in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes
  • Perform activities for satisfying internal and external Government related functions for achieving a compliant purchasing system
  • Maintain contract record in accordance with all required regulations and support all Government mandated contractual reporting requirements
  • Effectively managing and mitigating changes and claims through the negotiations and/or dispute resolution processes
  • Act as a liaison with legal experts, when necessary, to assess risk and to resolve legal matters
  • Support the resolution of payment-related problems
  • Conduct proposal preparation including examination of Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation requirements and estimates, analyzing terms and conditions to evaluate risks to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications, and proposal submission.
  • Complete Federal Representations & Certifications for proposal packages
  • Complete Supplier/Vendor Representations & Certifications and portal registration processes
  • Input Contracts/Orders into Costpoint and utilize Costpoint to manage PGS’ contractual database

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years related training, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal Regulations (FAR, DFARS and Agency Supplements)
  • Qualified candidates must have 5 years of related Federal Government contracts experience desired
  • Federal procurement experience desired (including participation in a Certified Purchase System Review (CPSR) would be a plus!!
  • Experience with Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) contracts and orders
  • Experience with System for Award Management (SAM), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and other government systems
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Experience with SharePoint and ability to develop workflows
