Description

HITRUST is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to enhance technical support and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience creating clean and concise documentation and can communicate effectively to help tackle impediments to ensure all relevant parties have a clear understanding of requirements and challenges. The Technical Business Analyst will work on a variety of projects, including but not limited to policies, practices and solutioning. This is a hybrid position based in Frisco, Texas. 

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into a (functional / technical) specifications, business requirements and user interface guides, considering all boundary conditions and expectations/demands of all relevant stakeholders. 
• Perform tasks associated with pre-project consulting and business case development.
• Elicit project objectives and project success criteria. 
• Work with responsible parties to understand, document and communicate relative level of effort. 
• Manage the relationship between business partners, project teams and vendors. 
• Facilitate workshops to scope projects and gather detailed product requirements.
• Operate in an Agile framework utilizing JIRA to manage workflow and support the team driving to strategic decisions. 
• Liaise between Information Technology and business units to help further define requirements and answer related questions. 
• Collaborate with applicable stakeholders to communicate the technical solution and implementation details to ensure that the product requirements are met. 
• Manage project changes and evolutions to achieve project outputs in an Agile fashion.
• Partner with appropriate stakeholders for prioritization of backlog of work
• Partner with the IT Scrum Master to support the team with flow of work.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related work experience.
• A proactive initiative-taker who is not afraid to ask questions.
• Strong interpersonal and group communication skills.
• Agile experience required.
• Salesforce and Jira experience strongly preferred.
• Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be needed.
