HITRUST Service Corp is Hiring a Senior Scrum Master Near Frisco, TX

Description

HITRUST is looking for a certified Scrum Master with experience to join our growing team. The right person will be an innovator with the desire to coach and train our teams to deliver established business values. This position will report into our Project Management Office and should enjoy working with business and development teams to improve current practices while simultaneously implementing new processes.

The ideal candidate will have a natural interest in Continuous Improvement and will embrace and facilitate the adoption of Scaled Agile Values and Principles. The role will be part of an empowered, newly formed, self-accountable team whose highest priority is to satisfy our internal business and development teams through early and continuous delivery of value.

Responsibilities:

• Will coordinate and lead activities that span across functional teams to complete deliverables that fulfill our corporate strategic initiative roadmap.

• Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, able to work under deadlines in a changing environment, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple work efforts simultaneously.

• Requires proven leadership skills, ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, a consistent track record of delivery.

• Requires the ability to interact with executives, managers, subject matter experts, and product owners.

• Will facilitate daily Scrum stand ups, story point estimation, backlog refinement, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.

• Has experience in facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution and appreciates organizational transparency.

• Ability to identify, manage, and assist in the negotiation of dependencies across teams.

• Must be interested in continual improvement, learning, and knowledge sharing.

• Responsible for supporting and educating the Product Owner(s), especially with respect to grooming and maintaining a healthy product backlog.

• Will assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition, and sizing.

• Must identify and remove any impediments that interfere with the team's ability to deliver against their commitments.

• Will proactively participate in the continuous improvement of HITRUST’s tools and best practices and will excel in coaching team(s) in their application.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Agile, 5-7 years of Lean-Agile delivery experience with agile teams (business or technical)

• Have 2 years of experience working in an Agile transformation capacity

• Possesses a strong moderation, facilitation, coaching, presentation, communication, and conflict management skills

• Ability to mentor and lead other members of department as well as analysts in the business units

• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and verbal and written communications for technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities

• Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)

• CSM, PSM, ACP or another Scrum Master agile certification

• Experience with utilizing metrics and reporting to assist teams in execution and continual improvement

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

Preferred:

• Experience with working in a scaled agile environment (particularly SAFe)

• Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manger (POPM ) 5.0

• Solid understanding and experience using Azure DevOps is a plus

• Solid understanding and experience using SalesForce is a plus

• Solid understanding and experience using Remedy is a plus
