What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server/Bartender position at Historic Santa Maria Inn?
The Historic Santa Maria Inn is looking for an addition to our banquet/bartending staff. Our ideal candidate would be customer service driven and have experience working banquet events adn bartending. This position would require weekend availability. Rate of pay is $15.50 plus tips.
Duties include:
-Set up and break down of events
-service events
-bartending at events
Qualifications:
-2yrs of Bartending Experience preferred
-Excellent customer service skills
-Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
-Excellent communication skills and listening skills
-Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
To do this type of work you must be able to:
-Talk with different kinds of people to give information, answer questions, and provide required information.
-Memorize drinks, ingredients and garnish
-Familiar with cash handling procedures
-Lift and carry heavy trays, tables and chairs
- Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders to understand and verify room set up and the menu being served
-Stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Obtain Food Handlers Certificate and RBS Certificate
