The Hermitage Hotel is searching for a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing with a proven record of providing excellence in sales, marketing and service at the 4 and/or 5-star luxury hotel level.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who has an extensive recorded background in luxury hotel sales and is not only involved in selling and promoting the hotel and its services, but also has a “hands-on” mentality to ensure all guest stays and events are successful and meet and exceed the guest’s expectations.

The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and evaluation of all sales and marketing activities including advertising, social media, website development/management and public relations for the hotel.

Responsibilities include maintaining effective involvement with key community organizations, upholding key relationships with previous clients, and maintaining customer satisfaction as the driving philosophy of the business.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years as Director of Sales and Marketing in a luxury hotel
• Strong business & marketing background and experience with a proven track record of execution in an upscale or luxury property
• Four year college degree preferred, however any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered
• Experience managing a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral or written form
• Knowledge of hotel and competitive market
• Experience in computer programs such as (Delphi, Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task within specific time constraints
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
