Job Description
Position - Dell Boomi Consultant
Location - 100% remote
Duration - 6 months – contract to hire
Interview - video interview
The team is current working on a Dell Boomi integration and migration from Vantage Point. Everyone at the company is excited for the new platform and they are looking to add someone to the team to speed up the process. They are currently processing their vendors and are hoping the new resource will help tackle moving over their customers.
Must Haves:
- Expert in Dell Boomi integration – hoping to use Boomi for more than just EDI eventually.
- Expert in B2B/EDI Management
- This person needs to be high level/experienced enough to do both some architecture work for the customer integration and get into the weeds with development.
- Takes initiative, team player, and likes finding solutions – VERY IMPORTANT
- Any development experience with JSON, XML, or JavaScript.
- They do a lot of customized solutions and having development tools will be helpful.
- Any experience with ADO (Azure DevOps)
Day to Day:
- Client is currently moving from Vantage Point EDI to Dell Boomi EDI.
- They are currently working on transitioning their vendors and Jordan/Tracy want added help to speed up the process. Ideally the integration will be done by EOY 2024.
- Around 500 customers and vendors to migrate
- Customers range in size and complexity. Some customer are highly sensitive and valuable like the University of Pittsburg Medical Center - $10 million a year customer and have a very specific process.
- This team works very closely together and a number of them have been at client for 7 years and have developed the EDI process. They use Teams and are often on video calls. The most important quality to Jordan is initiative – he needs candidates who will step up/volunteer to do things, hunt down an answer when needed, and find joy in coming up with solution.
