CAS position duties:

• Maintain and reconcile clients' accounting in QuickBooks Desktop/ QBO and Accounting Creative Solutions
• Client write-up and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Work with multiple clients
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of client’s the financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Expected to work with clients to make appropriate changes to client’s books

• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual sales tax return multi state returns
• Process client payroll, including annual and quarterly payroll tax returns
• Prepare vendor 1099-Misc at year end
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial and non-financial reports
• Occasionally cover for the Accounts Payable roles
• Handle fixed asset and capital project tracking
• Prepares and Post journal entries and other month-end close processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Collaborate with the other department managers and executive management to support overall Company goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field, preferred

• 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Experience Microsoft Office applications
• Proven ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
• Able to manage workflow and meet deadlines and work efficiently under tight deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• 3 years of QuickBooks online and QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred
• Thompson Reuter Accounting Creative Solution software
• CCH ProSystem Fixed Assets software

• Detail-oriented

• Must be comfortable meeting tight deadlines
• Previous experience as a full charge bookkeeper in a CPA firm
