HIRECLICK is Hiring an Office Manager Near Sioux Falls, SD

The Office Manager - Bookkeeper position is an accounting oriented position that will play an integral role in managing the receivables and have an active role in the daily operation for a fast paced technology company. This role will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to provide timely and accurate financial entries, including A/R, limited amount of accounts payable, business reporting, etc.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Expectations:

  • Leads external billing activities, including general AR and credit card transactions.
  • Must be comfortable in communicating via phone and/or email with clients regarding past due balances. 
  • Performs and manages deposits and desposit reporting. Should be comfortable with or willing to learn remote deposit machine.
  • Assiste accounting firm to provide support to overall month and quarter end processes.
  • Provide daily support to sales team in troubleshooting and performing error corrections, billing modifications, and billing questions in a high volume transaction environment.
  • Will perform a limited amount of AP duties, including routine company bill pay entries.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts and business reports.
  • Devises and implements improvements to day to day accounting tasks.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Pay range for this role would be $20-24 per hour, depending on experience.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Formal education and/or experience with Accounts Receivable and General Office Managment.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks
  • Knowledge of multiple PC software packages such as MS Office suite, Online Banking programs.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional office skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
